Dear Parents,
I hope this email finds you well. Students have been using google classroom as part of our learning environment. Students have adjusted to the learning but many of the students continue to turn in assignments late or not at all. Please help your child complete their work on time. Your child should be practicing these two main pieces, Chorale and Shaker Dance and A.B.A. Symphonic March.
Three weeks till Spring Break:
Tuesday, 25th – Jazz Band rehearsal 3:30-5:30
Thursday, 26th – Concert Band rehearsal for reteach list 3:30-5:30 (15 students)
Saturday, 29th – Jazz in the Desert (gold handout)
Monday, 2nd – Concert Band dress rehearsal for festival 3:30-5:30pm
Tuesday, 3rd – Concert band rehearsal for reteach list 3;30-5:30 (TBA)
Thursday, 5th – Concert Band Competition (we need 3-4 parent chaperones) 8am – 3pm
Friday, 6th – Step Up Sahuarita Track Concert, 6pm Auditorium with silent auction (we need 2-3 parents to serve lunch 11-12:30)
Tuesday, 10th – Jazz Band Contest 7am-2pm U of A
Saturday, 14th – All-State Auditions in Gilbert (TBA)
