Upcoming Information

It was wonderful to see everyone yesterday at the banquet. Congratulations to everyone who received awards, as well as everyone for an incredibly successful year.

I have a couple of quick reminders for everyone:

1) Our Band and Orchestra Spring Concert is Monday night at 6:00. Call time to be at the auditorium is 5:30. Please arrive by 5:30 so we have enough time to meet and go over any last bits of information that needs to be given prior to the concert beginning.

Dress for the concert is all black, but if you'd like to wear an additional splash of festive spring color you may!

2) Graduation is coming up on May 22nd. Again, this is a required performance for all band, percussion, and orchestra students. I'll be sending out more details next week. Dress for graduation is “Sunday best.” Graduation does take place outside, so make sure you're dressed comfortably for the warm weather. I look forward to celebrating our seniors one last time!

3) We had tremendous interest in joining marching band leadership this year, and everyone did incredibly well with their interviews, auditions, and projects. These decisions are always very difficult for me, and this year they proved to be more difficult than ever with so many qualified candidates. I am incredibly proud and grateful for everyone who put in the time and effort to go through the process, and I invite all of our leadership candidates who applied for a position to join me for a pizza lunch on Friday this week as a thank you. We appreciate you.
