Hello all,
Congratulations on an amazing weekend. We finished 2nd place out of 8 groups with a score of 69.75. We have a lot of work to do going into the next two weeks, including adding the lighting and final section of our show!
Thank you so much to Mr. & Mrs. Sparks, who chaperoned the very long day of Percussion Focus. Also Mr. Hancock for driving the equipment trailer, Mrs. Hancock & Mrs. Hardy for staying up extremely late on Friday fitting our new uniforms, Mr. Ruesch for spending countless hours building and programming our lighting design, and Mr. Vasquez for sponsoring Saturday’s snack. Thank you to ALL of the parents who get up early and stay up late to get the performers to the school. I apologize if I missed anyone; it truly takes a village to make this program happen, and I am so grateful!
This week is normal Monday/Wednesday rehearsals. Next week is Spring Break and we have rehearsal on Thursday and Friday 3/14-15 from 9-6. Attendance is crucial for the rest of the season; we only have 8 rehearsals left!!!
Attached is the itinerary for the Ironwood Ridge competition on March 16. This will also be sent home with your child at tonight’s rehearsal. It is a relatively short day since we’re in Tucson. As always, if anyone is willing to chaperone or sponsor our snack, please let me know.
I can’t thank everyone enough for the opportunity to run this program, and we are doing such a great job in our inaugural season. Go Mustangs!
