Dear Parents,
We had a great weekend, thanks to everyone who helped our students succeed. We are the smallest band in our division and yet we came in 2nd place! This week will be equally as busy and important that we are at our best. This is the last week of regular season and we hope to continue with a strong placement in post season! Our annual Butterbraid Fundraiser has begun, each student is asked to sell 7 braids at $12.50 a piece. Please ask your child for the order form and help us make our goal.
Curriculum for the week:
MPH this week will focus on music from Part IV, if your child has received less than a 12/16 in Powerschool please help get them into a regular practice schedule. Students will be asked to come in Monday and Thursday for MPH. We will have extra music rehearsals this week as listed below for entire sections of the band. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Wednesday – WW/Perc sectionals 2:45-4:15pm

Friday – Game Day ready at 5:55pm (Blue Band Shirt) Senior Night
Saturday – White Elephant Parade (Green Valley) Pink sheet handout on Monday (Gold Band Shirt)
8:30am arrive SHS, 9am depart for Green Valley, retrun to SHS 11:30am (lunch provided), 1:15am depart for U of A Band Day 2:15pm warm-up, 3:15pm Performance, 10pm awards, 11pm return to SHS
Parent Help Needed:
Friday – we still need parents for uniform committee at the game
Saturday – We still need MANY parents to help. When you sign-up and ride with the band you get in free! If you need to ride separate please reach out to me through email, we always need extra help at the event if you cannot ride with us.
