Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! A quick update for the upcoming camp on January 2-4 (I double-checked the dates this time!)
Camp Checklist
- Water bottle
- EAR PLUGS
- Sack lunch
- Athletic shoes (non-negotiable)
- 3-ring binder with sheet protectors
- Pencil
- Battery: Dark, form-fitting, athletic clothing. Nothing flashy, and NO JEANS
Meals
Lunch will be at 12:00 everyday, and last 45 minutes. Students will not be permitted to leave campus during this time. Dinner will be at 4:30 everyday and last 1 hour. I was unable to get any food donations, so it is recommended that students either arrange food brought to them, or get something from the fast food places on Sahuarita Rd. It is the students’ responsibility to make sure that they’re back on time for the evening block.
Schedule
I have attached the detailed itinerary for camp. We have A LOT to accomplish for this camp, so attendance is mandatory. Please note that the schedule is subject to change based on learning curve and facility accommodations. Students should always arrive 15 minutes before start time and will be curbside at 9:15 (always pickup behind the band room). It is the student’s responsibility to move quickly and efficiently when putting the equipment away. We will learn and practice these procedures throughout the camp days as well.
