This email is geared towards the students, but parents and staff are copied on the email so everyone is in the know. I am extremely excited that everyone is so eager to learn their new instruments and have a successful season, but I need to clarify a few procedures. Congratulations on an amazing marching season. Now it's time for indoor! After a successful inaugural season (STATE CHAMPIONS), we will be expanding the ensemble to perform not only in the WGAZ circuit, but also the WGI (Winter Guard International) circuit! What an amazing week for Sahuarita Indoor Percussion! After performing at the assembly on Wednesday, we received so much praise from teachers, administrators, and students! Not to mention a first place finish at Basha with a score of 85.2!!! We have made such great strides in our show, and continue to impress the judges and spectators alike. Congratulations on a fantastic show at Ironwood Ridge! Our small town was extremely well-represented with four competing groups! Adding the final components to our show made us stand out, and the feedback I received from judges, friends, and other directors was all extremely positive. In the next two weeks, we have 4 rehearsals and 4 performances to finish off our inaugural season; every rehearsal is critical to perfect our show and stay on top. Hello all, Congratulations on an amazing weekend. We finished 2nd place out of 8 groups with a score of 69.75. We have a lot of work to do going into the next two weeks, including adding the lighting and final section of our show! Hello all, The season is well underway and we have made great strides in the show! A few things for the upcoming week... 1. I am ordering show-shirts this week. This is included in the Pay-to-Play fee so there is no additional cost to the students. If parents or supporters would like to purchase a shirt for themselves, the cost is $15.
