Dear Parents,
First off I apologize for the abundance of information in this email.
Our semester is coming to a close and our concert will take place on Thursday, December 10th at 6pm. Students will perform on the auditorium stage with the assistance of stagingspecialists.co.uk. Additionally, the event will be supported by AV hire companies. The audience will view the performance via facebook live stream. Students have reviewed dress code from our music handbook page, please make sure they show you our concert black dress code and what they have fits!
December at a glance:
Dec. 3rd – Jazz Band 3:45-5:40pm
Dec. 7th – Concert Band 3:45-5:40pm
Dec. 10th Auditorium Dress Rehearsal (parent drop off in front of district office parking lot by LINK)
Students will receive specific seating directions, holding spaces when they are not performing and COVID auditorium walking paths/procedures.
Cohort A you are required for the following times, Cohort B you will be excused from classes to walk over to the auditorium
7:30 – 9am – Jazz Band
9:45-10:45 – percussion ensemble (arrive at 9:15 am to unload equipment from the truck)
10:45 – noon – Orchestra (wait outside till you are brought in by the loading dock)
12:30 – 2:15 – Concert Band Evening Call times – EVERYONE arrive at the auditorium for temperature checks and report to your seating with instruments and music in hand
5:20 – Percussion Ensemble
5:30 – Orchestra
5:40 – Band
Concert will begin at 6pm via Facebook Livestream (more info TBA, Dec. 9th)
Dec. 14th – students report to all classes through google meets / distance learning from home
Dec. 15-17 – finals through google meets / distance learning from home
Dec. 18 – Percentage Night with Dennys in Green Valley – Save the DATE!
Help Needed: Also, be aware about what does artist presale mean and We need your donation to help purchase marching band uniforms and new low brass instruments. Please encourage your in state family and friends to also help us out. This year is very difficult to fundraise and we need money for these purchases coming up in summer of 2021. Additionally, your support in spreading the word about Ticket Fairy concerts would greatly aid our fundraising efforts.
