January was an impressive month for Sahuarita High School Music. Congratulations to the following students for making the South Central Regional Festival of Band, Choir and Orchestra.  These students will represent SHS this February 15-16, 2019.

This week we will focus on the following tunes, Toccata for Band and Lightning Field for our SMS/SHS Band Day Concert on February 12th, 2019. I can’t wait for you to hear the concert on the 12th at 6pm in the Auditorium. Please invite your family, neighbors and friends, this concert will not exceed 1 hour.

  • Feb. 4 – Last Travel Payment Due $150, total $450
  • Feb. 5 – SUSD Symphony Orchestra Day (audition only)
  • Feb. 9 – Jazz band 5:30pm (pink sheet for participants only)
  • Feb. 11 – BOOSTER Meeting 5pm, Band Room
  • Feb. 12 – SMS/SHS Band Day Concert 6pm (all band students)
  • Feb. 15-16 – South Central Regional Festival (names listed above)
  • Feb. 25 – Concert Band Rehearsal 3:30-5:30 (all students)
    – 5:45pm Parent Meeting for San Antonio Travel
  • March 1 – Choir/Jazz/Percussion Concert 6pm Auditorium
