Dear Parents,
We have our first football game this Friday, September 6th with kickoff at 7pm. Your child will receive a colored form this week in class detailing the time frame they need to be ready by pre-game! This game will be very busy not only will we debut our show, it is our 8th grade step-up night, we will be creating a video for a fundraiser in September, and Palo Verde is bringing their band to the game.
Curriculum
We are currently in the middle of an objective sheet that students should be checking off items that reflect music and procedural items. Please help your child to plan their time wisely and get it turned in on time Friday.
Week at a Glance:
Monday – Labor Day NO Practice
Tuesday – 8th grade classroom visits (I have a sub all day) cactus building after school (small group of students)
Wednesday – Flags after school 2:45-5:30
Thursday – Percussion after school 3:30-6pm, cactus building (almost done!)
Friday – Objective Sheet Due, 1st Pep Rally during school, GAME DAY (wear blue band shirt to school for spirit) Tailgate 4:40pm, Uniforms 5:10pm, Warm-up 5:50, Kickoff 7pm, end of game around 9:45 TBA
