Dear Parents,

We had a great car wash, thanks to everyone who participated and sold their tickets. We raised a little more than $1,800! This money could not come at a better time, we have been able pay for our show music, and field props, between our car wash in May ($775) and now August, we did it!

Week at a Glance
Monday – rehearsal 5:45-8:15 on the field, students may stay after if they need to
Tuesday –  NA – building Sahuaro’s in Art room 3:30-5:15,  OPEN HOUSE 5:30, Music Parent Meeting 6:30pm E 105 bandroom
Wednesday – NA
Thursday – NA – percussion 3:30-6pm, building Sahuaro’s in Art room 3:30-5:15
Friday – NO rehearsal – Holiday Weekend

Monday – Sept. 2 – Labor Day – no school or rehearsal (FYI)

Sahuarita High School OPEN HOUSE – Tuesday, August 27 5:30-7pm  AND Music Parent meeting begins at 6:30pm in the band room E 105

Curriculum –
Students have received their first objective sheet, this is due next Friday, September 6th. Students should plan to check off about 1 item a day to compete the entire form on time with credit on all objectives. Objectives can be tested before school 8am-8:15am, during lunch, or after school on Wednesday’s. Please ask your child to perform the sections of music for you it doesn’t take long to watch and cheer them on.

Financial Business:
If you have not paid for the following please do so ASAP.
Camp enrichment and meals = $25   and tailgate meals for school events $20  all to the SHS Music Boosters, send a check any day to school or bring a card on Aug. 27th. Or pay online at https://www.sahuaritamusic.org/payments
Dance shoes = $35, blue shirt $12, SHS Camp fee $40, Class Fee $50, all to SUSD #30, please pay in the front office.
