Parent Volunteer Info – PLEASE READ!

I just wanted to send a quick reminder to parents who help us out at football games, competitions, travel, etc.

To volunteer, parents must complete two very important things:

The first is the parent volunteer application found here: https://susd30.us/families/volunteers/

Fingerprinting is not required for custodial parents.

The second is to complete the notarized criminal affidavit, which can be accessed via a link at the same place where you will find the application.

We've had a couple of parents that have tried to turn in the criminal affidavit without completing the application. Unless the application is complete, you cannot become a registered volunteer.

Additionally, if you are a parent who will be driving a district white bus, van, or truck you must present a physical, valid AZ driver's license and your district volunteer or staff badge in order to pick up keys from transportation. Transportation has seen an uptick from groups around the district trying to pick up keys without providing those things, which they have to have on file for insurance purposes.
