Regional Band, Orchestra, and Choir

I'll be gone the remainder of the week for All-State Jazz and our AMEA Conference, but I will be largely available by email. I wanted to take a quick moment before I left to send out a huge congratulations to our awesome band and orchestra students who earned placements in the AMEA South-Central Regional Honor Festival for this year. We had 27 students audition this year. I'm incredibly proud of all the students who put in time and effort to practice and prepare for their auditions and tried out on Saturday. We had a record 21 students earn a total of 22 placements in the Festival this year, and 2 students earn alternate spots! This is a HUGE honor for these students and our program! I also want to give special recognition to Anya Merten for earning spots in both the band and the choir, and having the highest audition score of the day in the soprano room!
