Band – Fundraiser

Parents, We have been approved for our club fundraiser, I have created an assignment in our google classroom, this is NOT a graded assignment but I hope every student will participate. In the past we would have had multiple car washes, onsite fundraisers and Butterbraid pastry sales in addition to this email campaign. Please help us to be successful. Jazz Band Rehearsal

Parents, We will have in person jazz band rehearsal on Thursday, January 28th at Sahuarita High School. Rhythm section 2:30 - 4pm Wind sections 3pm - 4:15 Please make sure your child has washed their music specific mask and have their instrument covers. We will take temperature when they arrive, they should bring their own water for this rehearsal. We will rehearse outside with social distancing respected. Dear Parents, I hope this email finds you well and the information I provide is helpful. We are in distance learning with regular meetings during the school day. Students should log in biweekly, have their instrument and music out and be ready to play! Dear Parents, On Friday in class the students took a survey about participation in the concert with options of alternate assignments if they will not participate in the event due to the return to distance learning and I have the results. 6% (4 students) of students are on quarantine and will not be allowed to participate per district and CDC guidelines they will be given an alternate assignment. 3% (2) of students answered that they do not feel safe and they will be given an alternate assignment instead of attending rehearsals and concert. 91% of students answered that as long as they are [...]

  Dear Parents, First off I apologize for the abundance of information in this email. Our semester is coming to a close and our concert will take place on Thursday, December 10th at 6pm. Hello all, Parent Info Meeting Monday, November 16 at 7pm is our parent meeting. Here we will go over the handbook, fee structure, rehearsal schedule, volunteer needs, and policies/procedures. I will also address the guidance from district that caused us to cut our rehearsal short on Friday. Dear Parents, This is a friendly reminder that we have rehearsal this week during fall break. After meetings with the administration, our Athletic Director, and Dr. Valenzuela, we have been cleared for in-person instruction.
