Dear Parents, It is hard to believe our first show is here and it is also the show that we are hosting!  Your child should have brought home a yellow paper with the details of the event on Friday. Dear Parents, VOLUNTEERS As we draw nearer to the date of our competition, we need every parent to volunteers for the day of the event. We ask that all parents volunteer for at least one shift the day of the event, and possibly more if you can. October 1st Fall Arts Concert

Dear Parents, This is a friendly reminder our fall concert is scheduled for October 1st at 6pm in the district auditorium. The concert is free and open to everyone, please invite your family, friends and neighbors. Dear Parents, We had a very successful rehearsal on Friday evening, the students were focused and all goals of marching were met. Students still need to work individually on music but that is to be expected. Thank you to the 5 parents whom came in to get the students into uniform and the 8-9 dad's who came in to finish the panels. Dear Parents, I hope you all made it to the game last Friday, it was a great night for Sahuarita Mustangs! Our students performed their show for the first time in uniform, we shared the pre game with Palo Verde Band, and we had our 8th grade students from SMS, WRS, and GEA for the evening. Dear Parents, We have our first football game this Friday, September 6th with kickoff at 7pm. Your child will receive a colored form this week in class detailing the time frame they need to be ready by pre-game! Dear Parents, We had a great car wash, thanks to everyone who participated and sold their tickets. We raised a little more than $1,800! This money could not come at a better time, we have been able pay for our show music, and field props, between our car wash in May ($775) and now August, we did it! Dear Parents, This past month has been very eventful with our music trip to San Antonio last week. We had a successful performance at the Heritage Festival being awarded a national ranking of Silver. This past weekend we also had three students make it to Arizona All-State Festival.
