Dear Parents, It is hard to believe our first show is here and it is also the show that we are hosting! Your child should have brought home a yellow paper with the details of the event on Friday. This week will be extremely busy with last minute details for hosting our show, and rehearsals with the students to make sure we have a great first competition performance. Thank you to everyone who has donated to the beverage contest, our last day is Monday, tomorrow. We have received a lot of drinks and look forward to revealing the winning section Monday [...]
Dear Parents, VOLUNTEERS As we draw nearer to the date of our competition, we need every parent to volunteers for the day of the event. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and we need everyone's support stand to make more than $6,000.00 on this one event. Please visit the website to sign-up via sign-up genius. This is the primary way we track volunteer sign-ups so please let us know in advance by signing up now! The sign=-up [...]
Dear Parents, We had a very exciting field trip to Tombstone last Friday. Thank you to everyone who attended as chaperones. The students were focused and enjoyed some fun time with their friends throughout the day. Students still need to work individually on music and basics like tone production. I am challenging every student to play long tones for 5 minutes every day to increase their range and quality of sound. The beverage contest has one week left and any section could win please continue to send in the following: cans of coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Pepsi, Mt. Dew, Sierra Mist, [...]
