Dear Parents, We had a very exciting field trip to Tombstone last Friday. Thank you to everyone who attended as chaperones. The students were focused and enjoyed some fun time with their friends throughout the day. Students still need to work individually on music and basics like tone production. I am challenging every student to play long tones for 5 minutes every day to increase their range and quality of sound. Dear Parents, We had a very successful rehearsal on Friday evening, the students were focused and all goals of marching were met. San Antonio Travel Meeting is tonight at 6pm in the band room. Each student will have a packet with their name on it. When you arrive please check in based on your child's name, your child does NOT need to attend the meeting. If you are not able to attend the meeting tonight I will have two options for you to come in during the day. Thursday, March 21 at 8am (check in at the front office with ID). The students have received and should be working diligently on the following two pieces of music; Havendance and Florintiner March.
