July 3, 2019 Dear Sahuarita High School Mustang Band Members, Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year. The Sahuarita High School Marching Mustang Band will begin our session with a lengthy and fulfilling band camp. Dear Parents, This past month has been very eventful with our music trip to San Antonio last week. We had a successful performance at the Heritage Festival being awarded a national ranking of Silver. This past weekend we also had three students make it to Arizona All-State Festival. Dear Parents, March is here and we are focusing on our travel to San Antonio. The students have received and should be working diligently on the following two pieces of music; Havendance and Florintiner March. These two pieces are on the harder side of grade level difficulty, students should be listening to the pieces on the website and working on their parts individually. Dear Parents, Happy New Year! We are already one week into the new semester and lots of things are happening.  Students will be preparing music for the January 29th band day event with a concert at 6pm in the Auditorium for all parents, family and friends to attend. This is the first time we are holding the event so early in the year. Dear Parents, I am thankful for so many things, my family, my health and my amazing students I get to work with everyday. Thank you for being such awesome parents that support your child at Sahuarita High School. Curriculum Winter Arts Concert Music, your child should be practicing all new concert music for our December concert. Students have also received their music to prepare for their playing portion of their final for our class. Dear Parents, We will NOT perform Monday, November 12th at at the American Legion. Please take the entire day off to enjoy time with your family. Marching Band is concluding this weekend, I hope to see you at our send off show tonight at 6:30pm.
