Weekly Update

Dear Parents, We had a great first official run of our show DeComposer's for our season, we finished 1st out of 6 bands in our division scoring a 66.4 on our show with the top score in Music, General Effect, Visual Performance, and Percussion WOW! I appreciate the hard work we have put in this far and look forward to the continued journey with your child. Dear Parents, Homecoming is a busy week for every high school student, teacher and parent. I reflect on each year the school spirit and camaraderie that is made here at Sahuarita High School. Please bare with us on a very busy week for the students and community. Our email fundraiser is going great as of noon today we have raised $2500! Dear Parents, WOW we have had two home games in a row where the team went into overtime. Thank you for your patients as we supported the team to the end of the game, won or lose we showed our Mustang Pride all night. Our carwash this weekend at Auto Zone was a huge success, we made our goal of raising over $1000.00, I will post the exact amount in next weeks email. Thank you to everyone who has donated batteries, we have enough! If you have not donated a case of water yet please do so in the next week or so, we are getting into our performance season and we will go through a lot of water from now to November. Our travel to San Antonio has been decided, we will travel Wednesday, April 3 though Sunday, April 7th. The first game of the season was a huge success in so many ways. The band performed with Santa Cruz HS Band for The Star Spangled Banner, we debuted our show and the football team won in overtime. WOW what a night.  Thanks to everyone who helped, it made the night a success.
