Dear Parents, Summer is coming to an end. Here are some direct info reminders for our camp time coming up. I have also included the letter that was posted on our website at the bottom if you did see it. 1. Guard/Perc Camp is in full session as I write this email! 2.   Dear Parents, Our awards night is Thursday, May 13th at 7pm in the courtyard of Sahuarita High School. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to find a seat and be ready for the evening. I ask that all attendees follow district guidelines: 1. Sit socially distant  (tables and chairs provided) 2. Wear a proper fitting face covering 3. Dear Parents, Thank you for attending our concert last Thursday evening, I am so proud of  how everything came together and sounded so nice. This has been the most unusual year ever and we have all learned such different ways to prepare music. Our awards banquet is Thursday, May 13th at 7pm here on the lawn of the high school. This is our yearly tradition with a few changes. We are limiting the number of guests for each student, we will not have a meal this year and we will ask you to wear a mask even though the event is outside. [...]

Dear Parents, Our concert is Thursday, April 29th at 6pm in the Auditorium. Each student is allowed four guests to attend the concert. It does not matter the age of the guest each person counts; for example if you have a 6month old baby they count as a person. Our concert will also be provided via live streaming for your friends and family that are not in person. I will provide that information next week. Parents, Our jazz band is getting ready for our concert on Thursday, April 29th, at 6pm in the auditorium. This concert is shared with the concert band and should last about 45-60 minutes, we WILL have an audience and we look forward to you joining us for the event. Each student will be allowed to invite four guests for the audience and we will live stream the event for those that can not make it. Dear Parents, We return to Five days a week in  person instruction on Monday, April 5th. We have Concert Band Rehearsals on the following dates, to prepare for our concert on April 29th in the Auditorium. This concert will include guests as did our virtual upload events for Indoor Percussion and guard did. We will also record the concert and display on Facebook and the website as we did in December, I will send more info as the date gets closer. Parents, Save the date: SHS Jazz Band will perform at the Sahuarita High School Graduation on Wednesday, May 19th at 7pm, we will arrive by 5:30 and be done by 9pm. More info to follow.
