We have made it to the next level, please note that all performances will be held in the Phoenix Area till the end of the season.  Now that we have very little new material it is super important that your child spend time practicing their music and showing up to scheduled practice. Dear Parents, We had a great weekend, thanks to everyone who helped our students succeed. We are the smallest band in our division and yet we came in 2nd place! This week will be equally as busy and important that we are at our best. This is the last week of regular season and we hope to continue with a strong placement in post season! Our annual Butterbraid Fundraiser has begun, each student is asked to sell 7 braids at $12.50 a piece. Please ask your child for the order form and help us make our goal. Dear Parents, It is hard to believe our first show is here and it is also the show that we are hosting!  Your child should have brought home a yellow paper with the details of the event on Friday. Dear Parents, We had a very exciting field trip to Tombstone last Friday. Thank you to everyone who attended as chaperones. The students were focused and enjoyed some fun time with their friends throughout the day.  Students still need to work individually on music and basics like tone production. Dear Parents, We had a very successful rehearsal on Friday evening, the students were focused and all goals of marching were met. Students still need to work individually on music but that is to be expected. Dear Parents, I hope you all made it to the game last Friday, it was a great night for Sahuarita Mustangs! Our students performed their show for the first time in uniform, we shared the pre game with Palo Verde Band, and we had our 8th grade students from SMS, WRS, and GEA for the evening. Dear Parents, We have our first football game this Friday, September 6th with kickoff at 7pm. Dear Parents, We had a great car wash, thanks to everyone who participated and sold their tickets. We raised a little more than $1,800! This money could not come at a better time, we have been able pay for our show music, and field props, between our car wash in May ($775) and now August, we did it!
