Upcoming Band Information Wk Aug. 14

I'll keep this week's email super short!

1) Thank you again to everyone who donated and helped with our fundraiser. The fundraiser closes tonight at midnight, but we've raised over $22,000!!! Congratulations!

2) There's an important deadline this week! The last day to submit requests for excused absences from performances is this Wednesday, Aug. 16. Requests for excused absences must be submitted at sahuaritamusic.org (the form is linked to the button in the blue banner at the top of the home page!). Absences for non-emergencies from performances will not be excused if submitted after Wednesday. The calendar is available and complete to help everyone plan. We can't be successful with missing performers on the field! The same form is used to submit requests for excused absences from rehearsals. Please give 2 weeks notice for rehearsals. After Wednesday, I will review all the submissions and reach out if there are any questions or concerns.

3) A reminder: rehearsal on Tuesday is from 5:00-8:30. Percussion has sectionals this week on Thursday from 3:45-6:00.
